Findingor Understanding a Partner using Numerology

by Michael McClain
The concept of usingnumerology to estimate thepotential for longterm compatibility with a prospective partner is asurefire way increase your odds for a good relationship. Looking tonumerology is also a good way to address problems in an existingrelationship, and gain new understanding.

That said, I want to makeit clear that while somenumbers seem to blend together easily and with little friction, andother numbers seem to be rubbing against the grain for you, there areno absolutes or ideals that you should be seeking. You can use theguide below to quickly compare two individual Lifepath numbers and theDestiny or Expression numbers, or any of the other numbers in theprofile for that matter. While some may wish to carry this further andcompare other factors in the respective profiles, and manynumerologists do, my sense is that these two important numbers shouldbe the focus of your investigation.

The most important numberin your comparison is theLifepath number. If you haven't learned how to calculate and understandthe meaning of the Lifepath, clickhere to go to the page on this topic. It is important tobuild a relationship with a partner having a Lifepath compatible withyour own because for both individuals, the Lifepath number shows thenatural inclinations at birth and the set of traits that will always bepresent in you and in your prospective partner. You must act on thesetraits to attain a sense of self-worth and happiness. For example, theLifepath 3 is one that emphasizes expression, sociability, andcreativity as the natural mode of activity for its native. When thesetraits are highly valued by the Lifepath of the partner, such traitsare readily supported and living together as a couple is facilitated. When these numbers are not in harmony, some degree of compromise willbe necessary for both individuals to maintain a comfort zone and senseof general happiness.

Next in importance is theExpression or Destiny numberwhich is the number calculated from your full birth name. If you arenot familiar which converting your name to a single digit number, please revisitthepage on this topic. The Expression number defines the direction in lifeand what you must strive to attain.

Numbers thatproduce easycompatibility or seem to be a natural fit.Numbers that areusually compatibleand find it easy to get along.Numbers that can goeither way - or may beneutral Numbers that areoften a bit of a challengeand require much compromise.

How the Numbers Match in aRelationship

While this gives aninstance glance at the degreeofcompatibility or challenge in the relationship, it is probably wise totake this a step further and attempt to gain some insight into theactual blending, or failing to blend, of the numbers. The followingnotes discuss the possibilities of these encounters:

.

1and 1:Two people with a strong desire to lead, and, two people who want verymuch to be independent. Two 1s in a relationship understand and accepteach other perhaps better than any other number can understand the 1.This is a relationship not without pitfalls as the match can get diceywhen they start to compete. But for the most part, it is a good onefilled with excitement and activity.

The 1must avoid being distracted and never forget how important attention isfor the 2 partner.

.

1and 3:This is a very lively couple that seem to shamelessly enjoy life andeach other. The 3 is good at acknowledging the 1 accomplishments andstroking the ego. The 3 provides the ideas and the 1 provides the push,so this couple can cover a lot of ground. Yet they have to be carefulabout what they say since neither handles criticism very well.

.

1and 4:4's desire for control is a tough sell on the 1. The 1's need to makethings happen now, frustrates the meticulous 4. Opposites in many ways, these two should not expect easy compromise. If they ever can acceptone another for who they are, their respective strengths will make asolid relationship.

.

1and 5:This is a very compatible combination as both of these numbers are onesthat like to have a lot of freedom in a relationship. The drive forindependence is paramount for each. They may be so busy with their own'thing' that time together is limited, very special, and oftenexciting. As you might expect, the most serious threat is when eithertries to impose his or her will on the other.

.

1and 6:This is a power struggle waiting to happen. The 6 wants and needs to acaretaker. The 1 has an absolute need to be independent andunrestrained. This can be a successful pairing only if they can workpast this roadblock, and give each other the support they both need.

.

1and 7:These are very different energies but ones that somehow blend nicely. The 7 provides wise insights while the 1 becomes a needed motivator. The key is to understand the tendencies; the 1 can get too busy withthe outer world to always be there for the 7, and the 7 can be too intotheir own world to be there for the 1. Neither should take this absencepersonally.

.

1and 8:From a business standpoint, this is a good match. But from the loveangle, it is questionable at best. Both are so assertive and demanding, that expectations can far exceed reality. Negative feedback from eitherwill be deadly in this pairing. Success depends on a open and mutualwillingness to compromise and limit demands.

.

1and 9:The 9 brings a selflessness to the relationship which allows the 1 tooperate in an environment that is understanding and smooth flowing. The1 will have to learn to share the partner who is inclined to extend agiving nature outside the home. If there is trouble in this partnershipit will generally come from the 9s difficulty tolerating the 1'sassertive and individualistic behavior.

.

2and 2:A great match of two souls both needing to give and receive love.Experts at mediation, they have little difficulty finding common groundon just about any issue that arises. The only word of caution for thispairing is that they must each remember how thin their own skin is soas to not cause verbal injury to the other. Generally this is not aproblem because of their polite manner and mutual respect.

.

2and 3:These are potentially very good partners because of the good humor andgood chemistry. The 3 is always 'on stage' and full of life and socialenergy, while the 2 is happy as a lark standing back and enjoying theshow. The 2 balances the needs of the 3 by providing a soothing andcalming influence.

.

2and 4:This is a steady pairing resulting in comfort personified. When itcomes to home and family, the 4 is the ultimate builder and provider.Security is 4's forte. Nothing is more appealing to the 2 than home, hearth, and family. The only difficulty likely here is one ofperception. The 2 needs love to be shown and always physicallyapparent, and the 4 is sometimes not so demonstrative.

.

2and 5:The 2 needs family and an ever present sense of being loved, and the 5need total freedom to pursue whatever avenues appear on the horizon. This is one where the chemistry has to be very strong in order for thetwo very different souls to forge some significant compromises.Obviously, these two can provide a lot that may otherwise be missing, but it won't be an easy road.

.

2and 6:This is another good love match. The 6 ranks first in family while the2 tops the chart in love and caring. Still the pair need to watch theirPs and Qs as the 6 has a surprising need for approbation, and 2's thinskin can suffer with the direct and demanding approach that sometimescharacterizes the 6. Considerations of feelings is a must.

.

2and 7 Videopusher 2 0 0 ubkg download free. :This is a couple that has some strong and dissimilar needs. The 2'sneed for demonstrative love and 7's need for a good deal of space andsolitude make this a pairing that will work only if both can stay tunedin to the other's needs and be willing to cater to them at least tosome degree. Generally the 2 will have to find something to occupy muchof the time that would otherwise be devoted to the mate.

.

2and 8:A pairing that usually works very well because it is likely that eachhas a clear vision of their role. The 8 is about the outer world ofbusiness and attainment, taking care of the financial needs of thefamily. The 2 takes care of the family and is there to pamper the egoof their partner. A pitfall in this relationship can occur if the 8fails to sufficiently value the labors of the 2. Generally, this is theclassic traditional family model, or in the case of the male 2, female8, the classic male/female role reversal.

.

2and 9:These two can have a wonderful relationship or it can be not sowonderful. The 2 needs constant attention, and certainly the 9 is acaring individual. But the care they naturally possess is spread to allhumanity and often it is not focused enough at home. The 9 is a naturalleader and the 2 is a natural follower, so there is always hope. The 9needs to remember that the 2 hates to be alone, and the 2 needs to beforewarned that the 9's love will only stretch so far.

.

3and 3:Wild and interesting describes this pairing of two with so muchcreative and social potential. No one has more fun that a pair of 3swho understand and support one another. The question may become who isgoing to take care of the mundane. The pitfall of this relationshipcomes when neither partner can hold on to reins of practical everydaydetails.

.

Tuneskit spotify converter 1 7 0 2610. 3and 4:When the spontaneous 3 pairs with the micro-manager 4, something has togive, and often it won't. The 3 will take each day as it comes whilethe 4 has to have a definite plan far into the future. If the two canever figure out how to meet in the middle, they will do a good job ofbalancing each other's shortcomings. The 3 will show the 4 how to havefun while the 4 can give the 3 a needed sense of security.

.

3and 5:This is one of the most social combination you will find. The two willgenerally find each other very interesting and their ability toentertain will be never ending. Social opportunities, travel, andnumerous activities promise this relationship won't get boring. Bothare creative by nature, yet neither excels at managing the budget, soeveryday affairs can cause problems sometimes.

.

3and 6:This is a natural combination that works well in most cases. The 3 isfull of enthusiasm and ideas, and the 6 provides the stability, support, and encouragement that often makes this combination an ideateam in many ways. The chemistry here is very strong and durable. Thechallenge of this combination can come in the form of 6 jealousfeelings toward the oft flirtatious 3. Usually it will be the 6 whowill have to learn to deal with an inborn trait.

.

3and 7:These two are about as different as people get. The 3 wants to beconstantly on the go with a swirl of activity, travel, and socialcontact that the 7 will find intolerable. The 7 needs solitude and canonly take so much human contact before retreating to their preferredpeace and quiet. Confrontation in this pairing never works well, and itwill be up to both to understand the long-term need for compromise. Thekey to success here is open dialog regarding wants, needs, and goals.

.

3and 8:This is a combination that requires extra effort mostly because of thedeparture of needs. The 8 needs goals and authority to feel happy, andefforts focused here leave the 3 without needed attention andstimulation. The secret to success in this combination, if there isone, is frequent getaways; periods when the 3 gets the 8 away frombusiness and relaxed enough to have some fun. There isn't muchfrivolity in the 8, and this can sometimes be a tough sale.

.

3and 9:This is a wonderful combination of two people who are apt to keep eachother endlessly engaged in a variety of creative ways. Both like to beon stage and both are interested in people. They care about people andthe 9 can be generous to a fault. The 9 is the teacher and the 3 is theever eager student. Sharing experience is a never ending joy of thispairing. The problem the couple faces is settling down, feathering anest, and keeping the bills paid. Even after they are settled and set, romantic adventures will always be important.

.

4and 4:The keywords for this combination are solid and secure. For individualswho need to know that the bills are paid and future is totally secure, who better to fill this need than another 4. These two will share goalsthat they work for and nearly always achieve. Success is measured by asense that growth is continual and this includes love and romance. Thedown side of this pairing, if there is one, is the sense that nothingis ever completely okay. It's hard to relax , be spontaneous, and enjoythe moment and each other. Nonetheless, there are few relationshipsdestined to be more stable than this one.

.

Switchresx 4 7 0 – monitor resolution utility vehicle. 4and 5:Challenge. The 4 and the 5 have different temperaments and differentways of communicating. The 4 is very direct to the point, while the 5will be more diplomatic and indirect. 4s don't like change, and 5s haveto have it. To find success, this couple will need to respect thedifference and pay attention to what is said and what is inferred.

.

4and 6:A comfortable match of traditional types, this pairing has promise fromthe very beginning. Chances are the 6 will want to take the lead inthis relationship, and a secure home and family are all that is neededto produce a satisfying long-term situation. The challenge of thisrelationship is compromise. Neither is very good at this.

.

4and 7:This is a relationship that has a serious tone about it and may bedriven by a mutual need for security. It is loyal and devoted, even itit may lack the fire and passion of some combinations. The 4 is anatural provider of rock solid security and home values. The 7 providesa quest for continued mental development and adventure. The combinationmakes life both secure and yet more interesting for both.

.

4and 8:This is a comfortable pairing because both parties understand hard workand have a good head for business and getting ahead in the world. The 4is the cautious planner, while the 8 has a more grandiose approach toendeavors. The only problem probably can be one of finding the time tospend together in a quest for romance. Yet this is a couple that knowshow to build for the future and develop a very secure relationship.

.

4and 9:These two are so very different that successful pairings are rare. The9 is far more social and fosters deep humanitarian instincts. The 4 isfocused on the basics of building a secure and solid immediate world. To succeed in a relationship requires both to be aware of how differenttheir approaches are, and somehow muster a willingness to accept. The 4will certainly appreciate the 9's knowledge and intelligence, and the 9must likewise value the 4's ruthless consistency.

.

5and 5:A pair of 5s is a very compatible couple who prize their freedom to bedifferent and adventuresome. Few others will be as open to the constantflow of new ideas and changes so common in the 5. In this relationship, partners easily anticipate what the other is thinking and where theyare going. And they also have a sense for staying out of the way andaccepting the freewheeling lifestyle. 5s choosing to support oneanother can do just about anything. The difficulty with this pairing isfocus, and there may be a problem handling the mundane day-to-dayaffairs.

.

5and 6:This is a combination requiring great compromise since the 5 thrives onfreedom and space, and the 6 is noted for exerting control andnurturing supervision. The 6 wants complete commitment, and the 5 islooking for adventure and new horizons. In a relationship, they wouldprobably be good for each other if they could find a way to meetsomewhere near the middle. They must avoid any tendency to becomeentrenched in positions that just won't work for the other.

.

5and 7:This is a relationship which is more or less free of rules andprocedures. In some ways, these two are much alike and the relationshipis generally very compatible. The 7 values the time to be alone andenjoy the world of study and reflection in their private space. At thesame time, the 5 has plenty going on and appreciates not having demandsfor attention being the paramount feature of the relationship. Yetthese two can get together and find a never ending stream of mutualinterests to discuss and explore.

.

5and 8:This is a relationship between two individuals who don't always followthe rules, and they might find themselves locking horns on the rules ofa relationship. The 8 is used to being the boss and dominating mostsituations. The 5 seeks freedom from any restraints. The 8 is focusedon success, particularly in a financial sense, and the 5 doesn't evenwant to think about money. It will take careful planning and compromiseto make this relationship work.

.

5and 9:This is a relationship between two who may find it hard to work therelationship into their busy schedules. Both of these numbers representpeople who are apt to be in a constant state of transition and change. In this regard they have much in common and will generally find eachother very interesting, for the moment or for the long haul. Thecompassion of the 9 and progressive thinking of the 5 seems to blendwell. Establishing a commitment to security is a must.

.

6and 6:This is a combination charged with romance, but in essence it is ratherpractical by nature. Home and family is second nature here, and thesewill be the top priorities for sure. This is a very compatible pairing. The 6 knows what's best for their partner, so they do a good job oftaking care of each other, and a family is a must. Yet the 6 by itsnature wants the whole family under his/her thumb, so the challenge maybe in agreeing who is going to be charge. The circumstances of therelationship will usually be able to sort this out.

.

6and 7:These are two very different people with very different ideas about arelationship. The 6 is openly interested in a permanent situationcomplete with a stable home and family. With the secretive 7, it ishard to tell what the goal might be, and only time will tell. Despitethe sexual attraction that may be present, this is a very challengedcombination. The 6 is too controlling, and the 7 just isn't to beclosely managed. The compromises required in this relationship reallybend and manipulate the natural traits of both numbers.

.

6and 8:This is a very positive and compatible relationship of two who areusually open and positive in most that they do. This is a couple withbig ideas, and their ideas are usually brought to reality in grandfashion. The home will provide plenty of space for family, work, andfrequent entertaining of their many friends. A down side to therelationship can occur if the possessive 6 has to compete too much withthe business interests of the 8. Likewise, the 8 will be frustratedwhen the demands at home cramp the executive lifestyle and obligations.

.

6and 9:This is generally a very compatible relationship prospect as the 9 isone of the few numbers to gain 6's utmost respect. In a familysituation, the 6 is unsurpassed as a manager, and the 9 is neverreticent in heaping praise in recognition. This often creates a mutualadmiration environment that provides a happy home for both partners. The 6 helps the 9 stay focused on details and common sense issues, while the 9 broadens the 6's outlook and sense of the world at large. The expansiveness of this pairing may suggest the need to keep a closeeye on the budget.

.

7and 7:This is one situation in which no one understands the eccentricities ofa 7 nearly as well as another 7. Thus, this is a very compatiblepairing. With the right attitude, this couple will find the interest tofreely explore the world together, or spend their days in happysolitude together. Chances are you are on the same psychic wavelength,so you will surely catch the signals as they flash by. The downside ofthis pairing is the tendency to not communicate, so an effort may haveto be made to keep the lines open and operating.

.

7and 8:This is a combination that seems to work well physically, but one whichis plagued with problems on the emotional level. The 8 has a tendencyto dominate and control, and the 7 is a very private person prone toresist attempts to exert authority. The power of both numbers canresult in frequent verbal battles. Yet there is a stability factor inthe pairing that makes long-term success a possibility ifaccommodations can be reached.

.

7and 9:This couple is anything but neutral in their affiliation. They arelisted neutral because the relationship can go either way dependinglargely on spiritual beliefs. Both have strong spiritual inclinationsand deeply held positions. However, these views of the spiritual andGod often divide along rigidly held lines. In such cases, compromise isusually not an option. When the spiritual positions are in harmony, this can be a very compatible combination.

.

8and 8:This pairing might be known as the 'Dynamic Duo' as this is acombination that is full of passion and romance. Indeed, this pairingis a strong and enduring match- up. Yet both partners will be easilydistracted by the events in their life as goals and professionaldemands often supersede romantic possibilities. Solid as therelationship probably is, the couple may have a hard time communicatingthe depth of feeling in either word or deed. Guard against competingwith one another, and getting caught up in schedules and the demands ofwork. Make time for each other and always focus on being equal partners.

.

8and 9:This is a challenging combination in which two highly motivatedindividuals - motivated in very different ways - find it hard to acceptthe ways of the other. In general the goals of the 9 are lofty and mayhave a humanitarian bend, while the 8 seeks the reward that comes withdevelopment of leadership and material success. To have much of achance, the 8 will have to appreciate the lessons that can be learnedfrom their generous partner. When they are able to work as a team, thisis a powerful and often inspirational pair. Too often, however, thecombination fails to click.

.

9and 9:This relationship has much promise as it usually engages twocharismatic types possessing much intellectual stimulation. The natureof the 9 is selfless, so this combination usually faces few challenges;each wanting to please the other and always be there for each other. Arelationship offering the opportunity to grow, learn, and serve, thisis often an inspiring combination.

One of the greatest things about music is that for the most part, it involves collaboration. Yes, there are the solo guitar/keyboard artists who can play and sing by themselves, but for the most part musicians love to collaborate with one another.

In considering how many bands and small ensembles I've had the opportunity to play in over the years, I've likely collaborated with literally thousands of fellow musicians. In joining a group everyone isn't necessarily your 'friend' but when they are your friends, it doesn't get any better, or more fun.

This week I'd like to reminisce about one of my favourite musical experiences that I had with some great friends. Our group was put together by David Mann in 1991 who was at the time, organist/choirmaster of Trinity United Church. Trinity United has long had a large collection of talented people who would from time to time present musical and/or theatrical productions that were very entertaining.

For one of these variety or 'cabaret' shows, David pulled together John Worthington, Barry Betts and myself, and with his creative mind, had us join together for a few musical offerings that I don't recall. But what I do remember was the incredible reception we received from the audience.

The end result was people suggesting that we should do some more collaborating, which of course we did.

As we were planning for our next outing, we decided that we needed to come up with a name. I suggested that we call ourselves the 'Lounge Lizards' and the name stuck. David's artistic abilities were put to work and he came up with a logo and we had some T-shirts printed. While we only had them made for family and ourselves, you know you've made the big-time when you've got concert T-shirts!

The group was incredibly diverse and fun. Rehearsals were an absolute hoot as we tried a million different things, looking for what worked.

In digging out an old file folder, each of us had chosen individual 'must perform' music but really spread our wings into uncharted territory including acting, old cowboy music and a cappella Doo-Wop music. David was the brains behind the dialogue and schtick we presented and in reading one of our old scripts recently, it was pretty funny material.

We were approached by the Wallaceburg Arts Council about presenting an entire evening of entertainment as part of their 1991-92 Adult Concert Series. We accepted the challenge and set about to come up with new material. We worked in different combinations of voices and instruments that featured the strengths of each and while some of it was more 'serious' material, humour was also a big part of our presentations. We didn't take ourselves overly seriously.

Over the next two years we appeared here and there around town and were once again asked to be a part of the Arts Councils' Adult Concert Series in April of 1994. Local support of our group led to two sold-out shows that proved to be the apex of our short-lived existence. We video-taped these shows and one day, I'm going to pull out the tapes and see if the oxide is still on the tape.

Based on the enthusiasm and success of these shows, we were approached about providing entertainment for the Kent County Medical association's annual Christmas party to be held at the Country View Golf Course. Never wanting to simply present the same material each time, we chose our 'greatest hits' and worked up some new songs and dialogue that we thought appropriate for the occasion.

The evening was an eye-opening experience for me as for the first time in my musical life, I found out what it was like to simply be 'incidental' entertainment. The crowd didn't purchase tickets to see us. We simply happened to be at their Christmas Party and this became the single occasion of my entire musical career that I felt that I bombed! It wasn't that our material wasn't good or well-prepared but we prepared too much material and the crowd quite simply wasn't in the mood to watch and listen. They were there to drink, party and dance and the fact that we weren't amongst 'friends' this time out relegated us to 'hired hand' status.

That evening gave me a newfound respect for musicians who ply their craft as incidental entertainers. It takes a healthy dose of self-confidence and the ability to ignore the fact that most don't really care about what you are doing, yet you must still present a professional product. Any rewards must be intrinsic in nature and the extrinsic reward is the paycheque at the end of the night.

While that outing wasn't the reason for our demise, it was the last time we performed together as The Lounge Lizards. We always intended to get back together and perform again but life simply got in the way and it didn't happen.

I'll always fondly remember my days as a Lounge Lizard and how much fun it was. Recently, I found a brand new, bright red Lounge Lizard T-shirt in the bottom of a drawer.
